Science on Tap Vol. 6

Our collaborative event with the Salt Lake Climbing Alliance (SLCA) to raise money for local stewardship was a smashing success! Despite the cold weather, over 100 people came out to hear Dr. Anson Call, Dr. Atim Enyenihi, and Dr. Carrie Cooper talk about the intersection of climbing and science. The audience heard all about forest management and wildfire mitigation, the pervasive myths about indoor air quality and how to keep your lungs breathing easy, and why exactly climbers' hands are so weird.
